Yvonne Selasi is a business professional with a heart for serving humanity. With over 15 years of experience in the non-profit and for profit sector working with diverse people from different countries and social backgrounds.
Yvonne started her education in Ghana at Akuse Grade School in the Eastern region of Ghana and completed high school at Holy Child School in the Central region of Ghana. She then continued her education in the United States at Cardinal Stritch University where she completed with a Bachelor of Arts- International Business MBA from Concordia University Wisconsin.
Yvonne’s fascination with humanitarian issues started when she was selected for the Lily Fellowship award by The University of the South, Sewanee-Tennessee where she she was introduced and served the Refugee Community in the Milwaukee –Wisconsin area. She initiated and run different social programs for the community until she moved back to her home country of Ghana for family reasons.
Yvonne’s role with SFTH will be to manage projects; she wants to engage more with thought and influential decision makers to create more awareness on challenges faced by disabled persons through community and policy dialogues and implementing practical solutions.
